Calling all Vegans, and all Hoba lovers. Have you tried our Kongs special yet?
The Konger – Marinated Tofu ‘Doner’, Pickles, Harissa Mayo, Tahini, Chimichurri and Crushed Peanuts.
Konger doner for dinner?!
After discovering the amazing kebab scene in Berlin, it was the bread that really made an impression. We became obsessed with trying to find it back in the UK and quickly realised we were going to have to create our very own version of it, a Hoba.
We teamed up with a local bakery to perfect the recipe. After months of trials, errors and frustration, boom… Hoba bread was born. We pack each Hoba with fresh, local, sustainable produce, homemade sauces and pickles all made fresh in house.
We have you sorted! Roasted cauliflower and pickled cabbage is just one of our vegan options ……not to mention our dirty fries. Shredded oyster mushroom, sticky jackfruit and chargrilled cauliflower. Treat yo’self to a bab and a beer tonight. Find us Slinging kebabs at Kongs of Kings street.

Our independence defines us. Committed to brewing modern, seasonal beer, our fierce intuition makes us unemployable anywhere else. Though we’ve never wanted to be traditional, we still respect the nobility of craft. In fact, tradition is part of our adventure, helping us explore what great brewing means today. We look to discover the extraordinary, to make beer that stimulates our creativity and makes us smile.
The Tap Room is a space that reflects the heritage and history of the craft beer industry – which steers our whole operation and everything we create. The Tap Room is a place you can try out our latest brews, throw a private event and begin your tour around our home.
Yes, our beers are un-fined and therefore vegan (apart from Pain Au Chocolat Stout).
Unit B Totterdown Bridge Ind. Est, Bristol BS2 0XH
Our story starts four years ago with a belief that we could start our own brewery; we left our full time jobs in the drinks industry with nothing but a pale ale recipe and a brewing passion to make quality craft beer – not just for the connoisseur, but for everyone.
Four grafting years later, and we have evolved beyond recognition. We have a new purpose, a new identity. All of our beers are unfiltered and unfined, which gives a natural hazy look and means they are mostly vegan friendly.
Welcome to our taproom, situated at the brewery on totterdown trading estate. Come and see the magic happening, and taste the freshness for yourself. Stop by to enjoy a choice of 6 of our different draught brews served from keg. We have indoor & outdoor seating, a selection of snacks, soft drinks & pub games. Dogs & children always welcome!
Southway Drive, Warmley, Bristol BS30 5LW
Bath Ales brewed its first beer in 1995 at a tiny brewery in Wincanton, Somerset. Since then the brewery has moved twice, but the beer we make and the Hare that proudly adorns our beers remains the same – with a bit of a refresh along the way.
In 2016 a new chapter for Bath Ales started as it was acquired by Cornwall’s St Austell Brewery, an independent, family brewer and pub company. As huge admirers of Bath Ales, St Austell has invested in a new brewery for the current team. Hare Brewery means more of what Bath Ales drinkers know and love – and some exciting new beers too.
Hare Brewery’s new taproom is now open – come and visit us in Warmley and taste our beers right from their brewing home. All bottled beer from our new brewery is suitable for vegans and vegetarians due to the new method of filtration. Please look out for the new branded bottles which will be the latest batches brewed on our new equipment.
31 – 35 Cotham Hill, Clifton, Bristol BS6 6JY
We’re a bit different from your traditional pub – we brew our own, unique craft beers on-site in our brew-tiful microbrewery! As well as matching every dish on our menu to a style of beer we also love cooking with beer – so be sure to keep an eye out for recipes that make use of the beers we brew! All of the beers we make on site are unfined (bar one bottled beer that contains lactose) but lots more on draught and bottled are vegan too.
We’re pleased to welcome well behaved children, dogs and adults at Brewhouse & Kitchen

Whether it’s in a pub, on the road, or at an event, we always live life to the full and want our beers to do the same. Always Live, always Natural, always Vegan Friendly. Great beer is about flavour, drinkability and enjoyment. We take the German naturally hazy (naturtrüb) approach, combine it with American flavour-forward techniques as well as the British tradition of secondary refermentation to craft uniquely dynamic, sessionable beers.
THE ORIGINAL VEGAN FRIENDLY BEERS
Moor pioneered the unfined beer movement, firmly believing that adding isinglass finings (fish guts) to beer has a negative impact on quality. Leaving live yeast and other flavour compounds in beer enhances aroma, flavour, appearance and mouth feel. It also makes the beer vegan friendly which goes for all of our beers – ales and lagers alike.
