The Raj Restaurant

www.raj-bristol.co.uk

35 King street, Bristol BS1 4DZ

The Raj Indian Restaurant has been serving those Bristolians who love a really tasty authentic Indian curry since it’s opening in 1981.

All plant based food is stored, prepared, fried, cooked and served separately. All ingredients on this menu are plant based – including margarine, yoghurt, milk, cream, egg replacement powder, tofu, soya “mince”, soya “chicken” fillets, soya “beef” fillets, or soya free quorn chicken pieces.

Whilst the restaurant has always been busy, the family who own it have always strived for constant improvement, without spoiling the core values that have led to it’s ongoing popularity.

We would like to make it clear that the Raj has no connection with any other restaurant, regardless of name similarities.

Dhamaka

www.dhamakadining.co.uk

15, Clare Street, Bristol BS1 1XH

Dhamaka in our context symbolises an explosion of flavours!

Dhamaka assimilates the culture of India – vibrant colours, lit up festivals, the street food and the amazing curries from all corners of India. From tangy snacks that flow across Indian streets to “indo Chinese” that is fusion of Indian & Chinese cuisine and quite popular in the Northern part of the country, like soya sauce with Indian spices just makes the perfect balance of Chinese and Indian ingredients.

Above all Indian food (Masala Dosa (VG,GF), Vegan Katacos, Pani Puri (VG), Pea and Corn Sheekh (GF, VG), Gobi Manchurian (VG), Vegetable Momos (VG), Vegetable Kofta Curry (VG)) is all about sharing and caring, so let’s share your food amongst your peers and eat the Indian way when you visit Dhamaka really near in future to experience the hustle of the busy Indian streets.

Dhamaka is not your “Lets try some curry over the weekend after few pints” sort of a place. It aims to stand proudly next to the other high street restaurants offering authentic Indian cuisine but with a casual dining feel to it.

35 Corn Street, Bristol BS1 1HT

Mowgli is all about how Indians eat at home and on their streets. She was born to feed the raw need Indians have for tiffins full of fresh bright intense flavour.  Mowgli is not about the intimate, hushed dining experience. It is about the smash and grab zing of healthy, light, virtuosic herbs and spices.

Announcing Mowgli Bristol!!! It took us ages to find the right corner of this incredible city but you asked for a Mowgli in Bristol and we trawled long and hard ever since. I love this stunning high ceilinged old building on Corn Street. It is very very indeed.
