Welcome to Koocha, a friendly, cosy escape that brings a taste of Persia to Bristol. Experience plant powered food as you never have before. Vegan or not, you’ll love our fresh, colourful and creative dishes.
Persian cooking techniques are some of the oldest in history, and yet not widely known. Traditionally the food is spread out on the ‘Sofreh’ so that everyone can have a bit of what they fancy. It’s a family ritual that brings people together, making meal times more fun and meaningful.
Koocha showcases the best in Persian and Middle Eastern cooking with a love of plant-based ingredients for everyone – vegans and non-vegans – to enjoy. Everything on our menu has been designed to taste, try and share with family and friends.
Koocha means street or corner in Persian; come visit our little corner of Bristol!

We use only the finest fresh ingredients, organic herbs and vegetables, all cooked in the finest Mexican tradition. Along the way, we have been recognised as the best Mexican restaurant in Bristol and one of the best in the UK by The Guardian, The Independent and The Sunday Times, but our focus has always been on the satisfaction of our customers and offering a real experience.
We have a fully stocked bar of beers, wines and sangria, not to mention a wide selection of tequila and cocktails. So whether you are looking for dinner, a cheeky churros or just popping in for a margarita, come and see what we can do for you!
Our vegan menu as it currently appears is attached. I know for a fact we have one vegan friendly wine but have not been able to confirm all of them. We also have a couple of vegan desserts available on rotation so when we update the menu with this extra info I’ll send a new one over.
