Pizza is Lovely (veg)

www.pizzaislovely.com

Vegetarian and Vegan pizza. Vegan Meat. Detroit Pizza.

Detroit pizza is a rectangular pan-pizza with a light, pillowy base about 1″ deep. The cheese is pushed up to the edge of the pan where it caramelises and forms a jagged crispy cheese edge called a “Frico”.

All of our pizzas are meat-free. We use some of the absolute best meat substitutes from the UK as well as making some in-house. We make our own vegan version in-house using a cashew nut base and it’s far superior to most vegan cheeses you can buy. Detroit Style pizza takes 20 minutes to bake, de-pan and finish. By doing pre-orders we can control the flow of orders.

We’re at a pub called The Orchard Inn which is near the SS Great Britain on the south side of Bristol harbour. The address is: The Orchard Inn, Hanover Place, Harbourside. BS1 6XT

Our new home drum roll please….The Golden Lion.

We are a start up family run vegan business that is passionate to bring to Bristol our soulful family style BBQ food. I was introduced to veganism by my family in America 17 years ago, They showed me that to be meat-free didn’t mean your food had to be bland and lack soul. Some of these recipes are recipes that have been passed down to me and its exciting to share the world with these delights.

Music is the food for the soul, and we are here to prove to you our food is too! Our aim is not to exclude meat eaters but introduce them to what a plant-based diet can really be, soulful, tasty and succulent! Nothing brings people together like good food – And we can promise you that our food is good.

79-81 Gloucester Road Bishopston, Bristol BS7 8AS

We are plant pioneers, revolutionising Italian food through cruelty free ingredients. Our aim is simple: to make our plant based menu superior to the traditional alternatives.

Our cheese is not only tastier than traditional mozzarella, it’s also less than half the calories and fat (meaning you can eat double the amount!). We don’t just stop at mozzarella, we also do raw cashew cheeses, a ricotta style cheese and a creamy coconut cheese.

Whilst all our food is animal-free, therefore, also dairy and meat-free, gluten-free food is also at the forefront of our innovation.

With inclusive eating being at the core of what we do, we will always ensure gluten-free diners are catered for and aim to maintain at least 90% of our menu as gluten-free or with gluten-free variants.
