44 High Street, Wick, Bristol BS30 5QH

Located in the village of Wick, which was home to Black Beauty author Anna Sewell, is The Rose & Crown. This 17th century building was once home to an ambitious local man, John Gully, who went from being a bare-knuckle prize fighter to a successful racehorse owner and then, finally, a popular politician. A well-preserved and sensitively refurbished pub with many original features, the low-slung wooden beams and open fires add to its cosy ambience.

Our new vegetarian and vegan menu is full of heartwarming dishes that are sure to tickle your taste buds and you can be confident that all of the dishes on this menu are suitable for vegetarian and vegans.
