Avon Mill Lane, Keynsham, Bristol BS31 2UG
The Brassmill played an integral part in the development of the brass manufacturing industry in Britain. By adapting Dutch techniques, Abraham Darby set up the first brass mills in Keynsham around 1706. The final brass battery pans ever made in Britain were produced here in June 1927. Now a pub-restaurant, we maintain the name as a sign of our heritage.
Deep in the idyllic Avon Valley, you’ll love The Brassmill and its ancient beams. Its large garden overlooks the river, a green mill pond with ducks and foaming weir. You can walk along the Kennet & Avon Canal.
We’re proud to now offer a Vegan Menu, 7 days a week, featuring a range of starters, mains, sides and puddings. This will be available alongside our usual menus, so please just ask a member of the team if you wish to see it.
