A new plant-based restaurant and takeaway for Bristol will open its doors to diners from 6pm this evening (Thursday 27th September). Suncraft, based on Gloucester Road, is run by the team behind sister venue The Gallimaufry which is located just across the road.

Head chef Kane Danaher, previously at The Ivy Clifton Brasserie, has developed an initial launch period menu (to which more dishes will be added) including freshly prepared Asian inspired bowls of:

  • Lentil Dhansak
  • Dumplings and parsnip mash
  • Spiced potato & spinach cakes
  • Soba noodle and rice salads
  • plus sides, sharing plates and desserts.

All of which will be freshly prepared on site for speedy lunches or dinners and are plant-based and Vegan with the majority being gluten free.

From Thursday 27th – Saturday 29th September, Suncraft will be open from 6pm-10pm, closed Sunday 30th, then from Monday 1st October the restaurant will be open seven days a week from 12noon till 10pm. Dine in and takeaway orders are placed at the counter and dishes will change up every three months based on the availability of the ethically sourced ingredients.

A new street food stall selling hot serious sandwich’s around Bristol. With locally sourced sustainable ingredients, and will be supporting local Charity’s.
