Pitchfork Cafe – Surplus Supper

For the 2nd Pitchfork Cafe installment of 2019 (Wednesday, 20 March 2019) we’ll be heading to The Old Library in Eastville and creating a feast primarily using ingredients that would normally be going to waste. The menu will be a bit or a surprise as we wont know what produce we’ll get until near the time, but we hope by now you’ll trust us to make some tasty stuff!

Tickets for this one will be on a sliding scale and advance only, from £5 to £20, where the higher brackets will be subsidising the lower brackets and some free spaces. Please pay what you feel you can afford to, and please get in touch if you would like a free space or know someone who would.

All money after costs will go to the wonderful Hydra Books, a volunteer run bookshop that stocks some great radical literature and provides space for meetings, gigs and other events.

We are holding a day of cream teas on Sunday 24th February!

We’ve been doing these for years now and they’re always popular but this time there’s a slight twist so that we can fit more of you in! There will be two sittings: a Sunday brunch cream tea at 11am and an afternoon tea at 3pm.

Each ticket includes a selection of sandwiches, a variety of sweet treats including berry scones with jam and whipped coconut cream, and unlimited tea/herb tea and coffee.

Whether you are a die hard vegan or just wanting to see what the all the hype is about there is something for everyone. There will be stalls serving up your favourite plant based junk food, health food, vegan merch and much more. The bar will be fully stocked with vegan beers and all the cruelty free ingredients to make some amazing cocktails.

Winter Beer Festival at Fierce & Noble
