Dark Matters (vegan)

www.eatdarkmatters.com

LET’S GO! Our Bristol Home Delivery trial is now on!

Dark Matters was born in 2013 from my quest for the Perfect Brownie.

Our gorgeous gourmet brownies are different, because the first and main ingredient is 70% dark chocolate, not cocoa powder or sugar. We love the dark stuff and cramming so much of it into our secret recipe means our brownies are darker, denser and (we think) much more delicious than your average!

Our brownies have not only improved in quality and flavour, but also in ethics and sustainability, which makes for a happy baker, happy customers and a happy planet!

Pinkmans

www.pinkmans.co.uk

85 Park Street, Bristol BS1 5PJ

We embarque on this amazing #vegan project (Veeg-Naan Wraps, Homemade Seitan Burgers, Loaded Fries etc). Give it a try HERE!

We might not look like your typical bakery or serve a range of food & drink typical to a bakery, but at the heart of Pinkmans are bakers ovens, bakers and a lot of baking. We see our bakery as being about more than just the building we are in. It is the combination of our people, our customers, our community, our supplies and suppliers, all mixed together gently, proved slowly, and baked with a lot of care.

The ultimate expression of Pinkmans however will always be about the way we make our bread – an eye on the past and an eye to the future, great ingredients crafted with skill & passion, served with a sense of fun and sun.

Electric Bear Brewing

www.electricbearbrewing.com

Unit 12 The Maltings, Brassmill Lane, Bath BA1 3JL

Please also note that our deliveries are sometimes taking a little longer than they usually would at the moment if you are outside of our direct delivery area, so please allow 3-5 working days for delivery from when you ordered. The parcel carriers are dealing with a huge increase in volumes right now with reduced staff numbers because of the Coronavirus situation. If you do live in Bath, then we are generally able to deliver next day, depending on stocks, etc. DUE TO THE COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS THE TAPROOM IS TEMPORARILY CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

As of January this year we are 100% vegan – the only historical product which wasn’t was the “Edison pilsner” which has now been discontinued and replaced with a vegan product. We are a microbrewery based in Bath creating eclectic, modern, flavourful and award winning beers for the bold and the curious. Our taproom is right in the heart of the brewery in the shadow of our brewhouse. 10 keglines of our latest, freshest beer straight from the source.

The name of our brewery comes from the old Bear Brewery that used to stand on the corner of the Wellsway, next to the Bear Inn in the Bear Flat area of Bath. Electric derives from how we power our brewhouse kettle (AKA the ‘copper’ – the vessel used to boil the wort during brewing). That original Bear Brewery is now gone – the victim of a WWII Baedeker bombing raid in April 1942. But we are Electric Bear. Brewing here is back – bigger and better than ever.

No Beef Cafe (vegan)

www.nobeefcafe.co.uk

Our dream is that one day, No Beef will be a café. A space where people can come to enjoy tasty vegan food while being surrounded by art and good vibes.

Rather than rush in, No Beef made a conscious decision to start small and grow organically. Originally, the plan was to begin our journey this summer by investing in a food truck; but with the current worldwide crisis, we needed to be flexible and look at how we could adapt to this new way of living. But from the panic came the decision to launch early, just on a smaller scale – from home. Wanting to be productive and help where we can, it made sense for us to put our business plan into action, and to not let No Beef drift further away from being a reality.

We are keeping things small and simple to start, with our Piesolation meals and our Ding Dong Donuts. We will throw some Banana Bread into the mix when we feel sassy and will be sure to mix up the flavours, so you don’t get bored. All the food on our menu is fresh and homemade. We can’t wait to get our food out there and are super excited for the No Beef journey to finally begin.
