My personal favourite, especially as it is only about 300 yards from my front door. Rammed full of the best quality organic fruit and veg, with fresh deliveries daily. Great selection of hummus including San Amvrosia and Natural Vitality, plus smoothies, juices, hemp oil and a first rate selection of vegan chocolate, as well as Sikelia range of exotic Sicilian pestos.

Worth a weekly visit not just for the staples but also for some unusual variations that pop up from time to time especially in the fresh section. Must visit experience if you value your food. From A VEGAN GUIDE TO BRISTOL PUBLISHED BY YAOH

Beautiful location in the heart of Montpelier in Picton Street, this was the original wholefood shop in Bristol, opening way back in the early seventies (could even have been the late sixties). Charming building houses an excellent choice of wholefoods and groceries, plus a very welcome organic fresh fruit and veg section, and an excellent deli section for those wanting a quick wholesome snack.
