Hanover Place, Bristol Marina BS1 6UH

Our lovely green horse box cafe is based on The Bristol Marina next to Banksy’s ‘Girl With the Pierced Eardrum‘. Expect daily fresh vegetarian or vegan eats made using organic, local ingredients where possible.

Headlining we have the Vegan Coronation Chickpea baguette with green salad and coriander, it’s a corker. Curried Tempeh baguette, mango chutney and pickled red cabbage… a match made in vegan heaven.

Did you know any of the options on our lunch menu can be made vegan? We even use vegan pesto in the Avant-Gardener. Cheese-wise we use a blend of hard cheese and mozzarella, just like the dairy option. Finally to top off the bill all but one option on our hot drinks menu can be made vegan with our oat milk of choice; organic Minor Figures. Any Qs about our plant-based offering feel free to ask us down at our pitch.

The ice cream is made from the finest organic cashews and agave or coconut syrup provides gentle sweetness across the six flavours – you won’t find any refined sugars or sugar-rush highs in Booja-Booja ice creams. Gopal’s Curry Shack (vegan)

www.gopalscurryshack.co.uk

Gopal’s curry shack is 100% deliciously vegan. I’ve made the transition from vegetarian to vegan during the pandemic and haven’t looked back. We’ve been flexible in the past when customers asked us to serve dairy products but it’s time we drew a clear line. The business is an extension of myself and it just feels… right. I want to be 100% behind what I do and positioning Gopal’s curry shack as vegan is part of that. So excited and proud to be part of the vegan community.

Bristolians. Call it Mr. Pitta Full … It is going to hit the streets and offer you free food … Spot it and get a falafel box for free. Follow us on Instagram to find out where it will be next!!!

The Eat a Pitta falafel recipe originated in Grandma Yolandes’ kitchen in the back streets of Algiers more than 70 years ago. As a kid I was always glued to my grandmothers side as she taught me how to make the perfect falafel, crispy on the outside, moist in the middle.

Armed with my grandma’s secret recipe and 12 years experience cooking in the restaurant biz, I realised my dream in November 2011 and opened ‘eat a pitta’ in St Nicholas market in Bristol.

Come and try our delicious falafels at Eat a Pitta today! Hopefully you will be able to taste that little bit of history in every bite!
