House of Veg is an all vegan street feast and market located at the Pennywell Project on Pennywell Road, Bristol. Come discover and explore the vegan and plant-based lifestyle. There will be something for everyone, so bring your vegan and non-vegan friends with you! Be sure to come hungry and ready to shop local!

Bristol’s only dedicated Vegan Market takes place on Corn St every Monday from 10am – 3pm. Expect an array of plant powered goodness guaranteed to get your week off to the right start. Pop by for delicious street food options, sweet treats and a great selection of fresh produce, ferments and vegan essentials.

Pitchfork Cafe – Surplus Supper

For the 2nd Pitchfork Cafe installment of 2019 (Wednesday, 20 March 2019) we’ll be heading to The Old Library in Eastville and creating a feast primarily using ingredients that would normally be going to waste. The menu will be a bit or a surprise as we wont know what produce we’ll get until near the time, but we hope by now you’ll trust us to make some tasty stuff!

Tickets for this one will be on a sliding scale and advance only, from £5 to £20, where the higher brackets will be subsidising the lower brackets and some free spaces. Please pay what you feel you can afford to, and please get in touch if you would like a free space or know someone who would.

All money after costs will go to the wonderful Hydra Books, a volunteer run bookshop that stocks some great radical literature and provides space for meetings, gigs and other events.

As always, absolutely vegan, just like an Indian Elephant. As always, we will try to bring you something that you just might not have tried before. As always, it’s going to be real, it’s going to be authentic, it’s what my mum fed me.
