Over the last few years, the teams in our restaurants have seen the increase of diners wanting a vegan menu.
Our vegan breakfast menu – Staying with us overnight? All of our restaurants are open to the public too, with breakfast served until 10am. As well as a selection of cereals which you can enjoy with soya or almond milk, there is a fresh fruit and a hot tasty vegan fry up. It includes 2 vegan sausages, grilled tomato, hash browns, baked beans, mushrooms and sautéed spinach. When pre-ordered breakfast is £12 per person, under 12’s are £5 each and under 5’s dine for free.
Sample vegan menus – Our menus are seasonal and do change often so we can offer the best fresh and local ingredients. The warming winter menu has included hearty risottos, vegetable and chickpea tagines, roasted butternut squash curry, open sandwiches with olive tapenade, roasted peppers or marinated aubergines, or a superfood salad packed with goodness including cauliflower cous cous, kale, avocado, carrot, butternut squash and topped with toasted sunflower seeds and lemon dressing.
Is our vegan menu always available? Yes, it is. However, we do ask that you let us know when you book your overnight stay, or meal in the restaurant. All of our food is made on the premises, and we would hate not to have some of the ingredients here. By letting us know, we can make sure our local suppliers deliver what we need, and we have time to make the dishes for you. This includes, breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, evening meals and any conferences, weddings or events held with us.
Next to Clifton Down station
Hello! I’m Louise, a 29 year old vegan chef living in Bristol and running a little food truck here. Open to hosting everyone, but my Bristolian expertise lies in vegan and veggie food culture so I can offer plenty of tips if that’s something you’re interested in!
My flat is within walking distance of Whiteladies Road, the city centre and the Clifton Suspension Bridge as well as being situated right next to Clifton Down train station which connects us to various corners of Bristol in just a few minutes! The location is great and very pretty and the flat in general is spacious and quiet.
Open to all, but vegans and veggies definitely encouraged as I have plenty of foodie tips for you! This room is good for couples and solo adventurers. I ask that no meat or fish is brought into the house so if possible please keep any takeaways etc. to vegetarian while you’re here!
Bedminster – between Southville and Windmill Hill
My place is close to the airport, public transport, the city centre, parks, and art and culture. You’ll love my place because of the ambiance, the views, the location, and the people. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers. There two yoga classes on-site on Monday nights – you are welcome to join! Help yourself to teas and coffees! You will enjoy a vegan breakfast.
I am a friendly, relaxed person in my mid-thirties. I have travelled a lot and particularly love all Spanish speaking countries! I work as a Nutritional Therapist and Yoga teacher, which I really love. My life motto is: “Be the change you want to see”.
I look forward to welcoming you soon!
Rockaway House, Eastcourt Rd, Temple Cloud BS39 5BU
We currently offer two rooms through the Airbnb website. we have plans over the next few months to add rooms and other interesting places to stay here for a day or three.
What makes it unique… What doesn’t!! You won’t find many places like this (in England at least)… It’s more like a West Coast USA house as seen in Lloyd Khans amazing books (look him up).
Our last visitors remarked that what they found most noticeable, was the silence in the morning – no city noise or light pollution here! We just fitted the beds with bamboo bedding, which is super ecological and has multiple benefits to you health!
Basic (vegan) breakfast included – muesli, toast, jam etc. Feel free to bring your own food and drink and store it in the fridge, as long as it’s not meat. We cook vegan in the house and offer meals at an extra cost, £4/person for a hot breakfast and £8 for dinner. Coffee and tea included in the price of the room.
Please ask for details if you’re interested.
This is a group created for people who are looking for somewhere to live in Bristol and are vegan or want to live in a vegan household or with other vegans. Also for people to advertise rooms and homes available that would welcome vegans.
Recently there appears to be an abundance of people in the Bristol community looking for rooms, homes or people to share with who are “like-minded”.
As well as home owners also looking for “like-minded” lodgers.
Maybe this group could serve the purpose of bringing the two together.
