Here on the buzzing Gloucester Road in Bristol lies our pollinator friendly café.

Here at the nectar house we offer everything from seasonally changing small mezza plates, stacks (open sandwiches) to the real deal; a hearty breakfast, accommodating for vegans. Our vegan stack has upped it game! From the bottom-Vegan cheese and tomato sourdough toastie, scrambled tofu, asparagus (to follow the season), watercress and walnuts!

We know not all of you eat honey… but not to worry, we got ya sorted. In all our cocktails and drinks that include honey syrup, we have a vegan equivalent so no one misses out.

Did you know… we have the beeeeautiful @earthcakebristol in our cake crew! They’re vegan, they’re delicious.

Averys

9A Culver Street, Bristol BS1 5LD

Averys can trace its history back to 1793 but it was in the 1920s with Ronald Avery at the helm that Averys sailed to success.

Today, Averys’ insatiable appetite for wine excitement is embraced by a team of wine buyers and John’s daughter, Mimi, who continue to innovate and pioneer up-and-coming wine regions and winemakers.

Vegan wines avoid traditional fining agents such as albumen, instead using materials such as clay (or just gravity!) to remove sediment from wine after fermentation. Many wineries don’t use animal derived fining agents but don’t label themselves as vegan – again, it’s worth doing your research! Visit our Averys Bristol Cellars and you’ll find a nice display to make browsing for these wines much easier! And of course, our staff are always on hand to advise in the shop, or over the phone!
