The Chilli Hatch (vegan)

The Chilli Hatch will hopefully be coming to various Bristol street food markets this spring – most likely on a fortnightly/ monthly basis. We’ll be serving delicious VEGAN comfort food – different variations of the much loved classic Chilli Con Carne.

One of the first dishes my dad taught me to make when I was younger was chilli con carne and since then it has always been one of my favourite dishes. I’ve added my own twist to his recipe, using extra spices and ingredients, adding depth to the dish. Since I stopped eating meat a few years ago I had to switch it up into a sin carne, which is just as hearty as it was when it was meat-based – using pulses & a meat free alternative. Friends of mine who are meat eaters, can’t believe everything is vegan. The menu will purely be chilli con carne, in a few variations…

In the meantime I’ll be perfecting my recipes & getting everything together to hopefully open up shop in May. Watch this space.
