We start baking before dawn each day using the best local ingredients, including Shipton Mill organic flour. From Monday to Saturday at 8am as our doors open, you’ll find sourdoughs, rye, bloomers and more, freshly stocked on our bread counter and ready to go.

We will try to have them daily from today along with our vegan savouries and cakes! We’ve still got you covered for veganuary, this weeks special; Vegan grilled cheese served with sweet potato fries and slaw. Make your Monday morning a little sweeter with our NEW vegan ginger cake. Welcome to Joe’s Bakery – winners 2 years running at the Britain’s Best Loaf Competition.
We are pleased to be introducing a new range of sandwiches and filled rolls which cater for a vegan diet. We will be increasing the range over the coming weeks, and from Monday will have available – A ciabatta roll filled with smoked ‘Gouda cheese’ with salad and mayo; and a sourdough roll filled with roasted peppers, red onion, and Violife Greek White Block (Feta alternative).
A new ‘Vegan Range’ category is now available if you order via Good Sixty. Here you will be able to choose our cakes, meat free sos rolls, and pasties, and we will continue to add products over time. Our spelt croissants are made with a blend of white and wholemeal spelt flour and contain added softened wholegrains. They are also suitable for those following a vegan diet. Made in-house using our own blend of spices, Onion Bhajis are delicious with a salad, main dish, or as a snack on their own. Onion bhajis are made using gram flour, which is derived from chickpeas; Joe’s bhajis are vegan and contain no declarable allergens.
