New Vegetarian, Vegan & Gluten Free Dishes (April 25 2017)

We know you love our Rundown one pot, sweet corn fritters and festival dumplings. However, with our new menu, we wanted to make sure there was twice as much choice for all our vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free turtles. That’s why we have over 20 vegetarian dishes on our new menu, as well as over 20 gluten free options and eight specific vegan options too.

Here’s what to look out for on our menu:

[V] Vegetarian | [VE] Vegan | [VEO] Vegan Option | [GF] Gluten Free | [GFO] Gluten Free Option

  1. Hi everyone,

A word of warning, the rice and peas isn’t suitable for vegans as it contains butter. I had the Rastafri Run Down and substituted the rice for plantain.

It was really good, but just a shame that something so simple and which comes with nearly all dishes had to have dairy in it…

On a lighter note, the fried dumplings ARE vegan and they are delicious! They’re like sweet bready doughnuts minus all the sugar.

    Yum yum 🙂

The waiter was really helpful, he brought over the allergy sheet and they have colour coded all things suitable for vegans in blue.
