Grounded is a small independent group of café bars. The local community is at the heart of what we’re about – our extensive opening hours mean that we’re always open when you need us. We use local suppliers where possible, and promote local artists and musicians.

All pizzas are handmade, stone baked and topped with homemade tomato sauce, fresh basil and black pepper. Vegan cheese and wheat free/gluten free pizza available on request, ask staff for details.

  1. Unfortunately I didn’t see the Vegan options as that abundant or clear at Cafe Grounded. My boyfriend and I popped in there for some quick bites to eat around lunch time. The ONLY vegan option that I could work out from the tapas was the hummus. I asked if something else was vegan and was told ‘no’. Then a few days later I read a review on FB that someone had also had difficulty ordering vegan options and had this response from a waitress: “oh well you should have asked to see the vegan menu”. From this persons comment, they weren’t aware there was a vegan menu and I definitely wasn’t either. The issue here being that it wasn’t offered and there aren’t any obvious signs prompting you to ask for one either. How are we supposed to know there is a vegan menu form one cafe/restaurant to another?
